Our Work

Recent projects include an internal operations portal for an accounting firm, a teaching community’s WordPress site rebuilt with a searchable archive of 638 recordings, and an author’s site moved off WordPress. Client names are withheld.

Internal operations portal for an accounting firm

For a boutique accounting firm, we built a private web portal with Google sign-in for staff that brings routine operations into one place:

  • QuickBooks Online reporting delivered to Google Sheets through a private Workspace add-on, without storing the financial records.
  • Time-off requests and approvals, with notifications in Google Chat and a shared team calendar.
  • Client onboarding through a public wizard built from an admin form builder, logged to a Google Sheet.
  • Meeting reminders and daily team posts in Google Chat.

The repository, database, hosting, and Google and Intuit app registrations are all in the firm’s own accounts. See custom software development.

WordPress migration with a 638-recording archive

A teaching community had years of recorded talks and meditations spread across an old WordPress site and Google Drive. We rebuilt it as a fast custom site with:

  • All 638 historical recordings moved by script into a searchable archive, with the hosted files verified.
  • A small editor, behind sign-in, for posting new recordings and class and retreat notices.
  • The old addresses redirected to their new pages.
  • Hosting in the organization’s own Cloudflare account, expected to cost nothing to about $5 a month.

An author’s site, off WordPress

An author and speaker had a WordPress site on hosting someone else set up years earlier. We replaced it with a simple, fast static site showcasing the author’s books and writing, redirected the old site, and moved the domains’ DNS out of shared hosting into a Cloudflare account in the author’s own name. The scope stayed deliberately small: no CMS, database, or backend to maintain.
