Priori Labs is operated by Sean Smith ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Priori Labs website (the "Site") or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

The Site is an informational website about our software, website, and consulting services. It does not offer user accounts, sign-in, online payments, or forms that store your information on our servers. Work we perform for clients is governed by separate written agreements, which may include their own confidentiality and data-handling terms.

Information We Collect

Information You Send Us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you choose to share in your message, such as your organization, project details, or attachments. Please do not send sensitive personal information, such as government identification numbers, financial account numbers, or health information, unless we have specifically agreed to receive it.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Hosting and network logs. The Site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the Site, such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, and the date and time of the request.
  • Aggregate analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall Site traffic, such as page views, referring sites, approximate country, browser type, and page performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors, and we use it only to view aggregate statistics, not to identify or build profiles of individual visitors.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and the Site does not set cookies for analytics. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical measures, which can include security cookies, to protect the Site from abuse and attacks.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about potential or current projects
  • Operate, deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the Site
  • Understand aggregate Site usage and improve its content and performance
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, property, and safety and those of others

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers. Providers that host and deliver the Site, provide analytics, or provide our email and business tools process information on our behalf or as described in their own policies.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that it is required by law or legal process, or necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
  • With your consent. We may share information with others when you ask or authorize us to do so.

Retention

We keep email correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, maintain records of our business relationships, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Hosting logs and analytics data are retained by our providers according to their retention practices; analytics data we view is aggregate. You may ask us to delete your correspondence at any time, subject to any records we are required to keep.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. Residents of California and some other U.S. states may have these rights under their state privacy laws, to the extent those laws apply to us.

To make a request, email sean@priori-labs.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and you may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any applicable privacy right. If we decline your request, you may contact us to appeal the decision.

Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no sale or sharing to opt out of.

Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-Party Websites

The Site links to third-party websites and services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.

International Visitors

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those where you live.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, the Site, or the law changes. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated effective date.
